How I Can Support You

As a trilingual clinician and researcher, I support diverse populations such as Asians, immigrants, first-generation individuals, and couples by offering culturally responsive, evidence-based care. I create a safe and respectful space for clients to explore challenges related to anxiety, identity, relationships, life transitions, and intergenerational dynamics, helping them build resilience and achieve meaningful personal growth.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and culturally informed. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and narrative therapy, while tailoring each session to the client’s unique background, values, and goals. With a strong foundation in working with diverse populations—including Asians, immigrants, and couples—I prioritize creating a safe and respectful space where clients feel heard and empowered. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and cultural humility to support meaningful and lasting change.

About Me

I am a trilingual therapist, educator, and researcher with a focus on supporting Asian and immigrant communities. I began practicing in 2014 in Hong Kong after earning my BSW, later completed my MSW at the University of Michigan, and recently earned my Ph.D. in Social Work from Boston College. Drawing from CBT, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approaches, I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate identity, life transitions, and intergenerational dynamics in a safe and respectful space.
