How I Can Support You
I am deeply committed to clinical humility, helping individuals navigate grief, displacement, depression, and self-worth to cultivate authentic futures that align with their values. Drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and relational therapies, I work collaboratively with clients to uncover unseen patterns, gain clarity, and improve interpersonal relationships. Because I believe our inner experiences are best understood within the context of systemic, sociopolitical, and historical conditions, my practice is rooted in unwavering compassion and curiosity. Having experienced both the highs and lows of life, I am inspired to forge meaningful connections that affirm every client's unique identity and lived experience.
My Approach
I offer attentive, compassionate care to those feeling burdened by life’s many hurdles. Working within an anti-oppressive and culturally responsive framework, I collaborate with you to make sense of intergenerational trauma, hardship, confusion, shame, loss, and pain. Our sessions will feel more like a supportive conversation than a typical medical appointment. Ultimately, my goal is for you to find deep meaning in our work, leaving with the insight and tools to think, act, and speak authentically for yourself.
About Me
I am a first generation Hmong-American therapist whose practice is deeply informed by the collective loss, violence, and historical grief that lingers in communities displaced by war. I believe our past shapes our present, and healing begins by exploring the unseen roots. Together, we will uncover deeper patterns, helping you find comfort within yourself and build the support needed to heal, grow, and reclaim your life. Ultimately, we are not defined by historical borders or systematic labels, but by our capacity to consciously choose who we become and the actions we take.
